About the Co-Founder & CEO
HASINA RESHAMWALLA
A visionary leader, compassionate advocate, and passionate believer in the power of women supporting women. As the Co-Founder and CEO, Hasina brings a deeply personal and professional commitment to creating spaces where women can heal, rise, and thrive together. Her journey began with the launch of Dynamic Dispute Resolutions, a family and corporate law mediation firm in Pickering, Ontario.
Through this work, she helped individuals and organizations find clarity and resolution during some of life’s most challenging moments, always with empathy and fairness at the core.But Hasina’s mission didn’t stop there.; As the founder and host of the podcast "Heal, Love & Grow with Hasina" she offers a powerful platform where real people share real stories, journeys of healing from trauma, learning self-love, and growing through adversity. Her voice has become asource of comfort and strength for many navigating similar paths.
A survivor and proud single mother, Hasina channels her lived experience into advocacy. She has served as a Patient Advisor across hospitals in Canada co-creating programs that address the needs of vulnerable patients. Her insights are also shared as a guest speaker at the University of Toronto through the Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare and Education, where she speaks on equity, healthcare, and community empowerment through her lived experience.
With unwavering courage and a deep commitment to empowering women, Hasina leads VEDA Women’s Club as more than an organization — it’s a movement rooted in truth,sisterhood, and transformation.
About The Co-Founder & COO
ALIYANA RESHAMWALLA
A purpose-driven leader, lifelong advocate for justice, and passionate believer in the power of women and girls to transform the world. Aliyana’s journey in service and empowerment began early.
As a child, she founded Aliyana’s Efforts, a youth-led initiative focused on global humanitarian projects. By her teenage years, she was already leading on national platforms as COO of the Youth Medical Association of Canada, where she championed youth mental health and expanded outreach and education programs.
Today, Aliyana studies Law with Psychology at Nottingham Trent University, where she also serves as President of the South Asian Law Society. She leads with intention — curating conversations around identity, equity, and inclusion that resonate across the UK. Her leadership extends beyond campus through roles such as Project Lead for National Employability Week™ 2025, President of Young Leaders Nexus, and her work with ADR-ODR International to advocate for accessible, alternative forms of conflict resolution.
Fluent in both English and French, Aliyana blends professionalism with empathy. Her leadership is rooted in the belief that empowered women empower entire communities — a belief that shapes every program, conversation, and initiative she touches at VEDA. Aliyana’s vision aligns with ours: to build a space where women rise together, lead with purpose, and create meaningful change
About Our Director
Lucy Lena Payne
Lucy is a Non-Executive Director at Veda Woman’s Club, where she actively supports and contributes to a community dedicated to empowering and uplifting women. She is passionate about showing women what they are truly capable of achieving when given confidence, belief, and the right support to succeed.
A single mother with no prior legal background, Lucy began her professional journey with limited confidence and a reluctance to take risks. Through determination and resilience, she has transformed her path and is currently completing her CLC qualification to become a qualified conveyancer.
Alongside her studies, Lucy works with Solicitors4Landlords and BP Legal Solicitors, where she undertakes work in landlord and tenant matters, as well as residential and commercial conveyancing. Her hands-on experience within the legal sector continues to strengthen her expertise and professional development.
Lucy is driven to inspire other women to build confidence, embrace opportunities, and step beyond their comfort zones. She regards Veda Woman’s Club as a place she can truly call home and is committed to helping create that same sense of belonging and empowerment for others.
About Our Director
Prity Chauhan
Prity Chauhan is a Non-Executive Director at VEDA Women’s Club CIC and a respected property entrepreneur, developer, and hotel owner. She has built and grown multiple businesses across property development, management, and hospitality, using property as a vehicle to create sustainable wealth and long-term opportunity.
Deeply aligned with VEDA’s values of empowerment and sisterhood, Prity is passionate about supporting women to step into their full potential. She works closely with investors and aspiring entrepreneurs, helping them build confidence, shift their mindset, and take ownership of their financial futures through strategic property investment.
Beyond her professional success, Prity is driven by purpose. As a mother of two, she is committed to creating a legacy that inspires others to think differently, break barriers, and build lives rooted in independence, confidence, and possibility. Through her role at VEDA, she continues to uplift and empower women to grow stronger—together.
