Through grassroots programmes, outreach and partnerships, we equip women and girls with the tools, support and opportunities to build stronger, brighter futures.

Self Care Day- Youth Justice Program
With Leicestershire Cares, Moonshine, Sophy's
The youth justice team partnered with Veda Women to host a self-care event targeted at women and girls.
From First-Day Nerves to Unstoppable Confidence Veda Women’s Club, in partnership with Leicestershire Cares, and proudly co-hosted alongside Moonshine Speakeasy and Sophy’s Nightclub in Leicester, delivered a Self-Care & Creative Vision Day for youth in our community — a day designed to inspire, empower, and nurture mind, body, and soul.
Cancer Talks
Healing Our Earth
Healing Our Earth requested our CEO, Hasina Reshamwalla, to speak of her personal journey with Cancer and how she managed to get through the most difficult times while practicing self love and self care. Her story resonated with many in their battle that she was asked to speak at both the breast cancer awareness month in Leicester City Centre and online on a global platform for World Cancer Day. The story reminds us, that self-care is critical even during the toughest times.


Fashion Shows for VAWG
Peepul Centre & BP Legal & Zinthiya Trust
Veda directors joined BP Legal for two Charity Fashion shows, the first to support Peepul Centre and raise awareness and money for programs to stop Violence Against Women & Girls. Veda had the honour of dressing these warrior women who rebuilt themselves in hopes for a better life. The second Fashion Show was with BP Legal and their team to support Zinthiya Trust, a vital charity that support victims of domestic abuse and much more. Both of these fashion shows were more than just glamming up, it was about standing with every woman and girl and giving them a chance at a better and safer life.
Community Misfits Dinner
Sponsored by KP Trading
Veda partnered with KP Trading to host a Misfits Dinner over the Christmas holidays, bringing people together at a time when loneliness can feel especially difficult. Our Co-Founders cooked a traditional Christmas dinner, while Merlin Wharf generously provided the venue and KP Trading donated the food and party favours. The evening was filled with laughter, karaoke, games and meaningful connections between strangers, creating a warm and welcoming space where everyone felt included.


She Speaks Health
DMU Student Project
Veda partnered with Teigan Coupe and the She Speaks Health team at DMU as they delivered a wellness event geared to all health related female matters. Though we could not attend, Veda was able to contribute to the planning of the event and some of the goodie bags. We are so proud of Teigan and the team for bringing awareness at a young age to matters regarding women's health.
Leicestershire Cares and Grassroot partners
Veda Women’s Club CEO, Hasina Reshamwalla, is proud to be part of a grassroots roundtable at Leicestershire Cares, working alongside local organisations to improve our communities and protect and empower young people. Our bi-monthly meetings focus on collaboration, shared resources, and creating meaningful programmes for a better tomorrow.


Young Carers Program
Leicester City In The Community
A passion project, working with youth in schools and partnered with Leicester City In The Community Young Carers program. Veda COO, Aliyana Reshamwalla, led this group session focusing on building your dreams. Through vision boards and meaningful discussions, she took the group from a classroom to endless possibilities. Using her own experience as ayoung carer, Aliyana brought to life what may have once seemed impossible
For Female Success
Base 51
CEO, Hasina Reshamwalla, was honoured to be a speaker at the For Female Success Festival at Hanwell Estates hosted by Base51. Her discussion was one of survival and rebuilding yourself after trauma. She spoke of how your struggles can be the very thing you need to give you strength and focus and be the catalyst for deep healing. Based on her podcast and her personal life experiences, Hasina spoke of real transformations that are simple and attainable for anyone.


Breaking Barriers To Trade
Veda CEO Hasina Reshamwalla hosted the Breaking Barriers to Trade event, bringing together leading business voices from across Leicester to discuss navigating a challenging economy.

COO Aliyana Reshamwalla, the youngest panellist, shared her perspective on the intergenerational workforce and the value of bridging generations in business. Organised by Tamanna Verma, the event welcomed notable delegates and business leaders, such as Baroness Sandy Verma and Dr. Cham Kang with Veda Directors Lucy Payne and Prity Chauhan there to show their support.
Honiour Based Violence 10k steps with Zinthiya Trust
Veda Women’s Club CEO, Hasina Reshamwalla,joined Zinthiya Trust for a morning 10k step walk in Abbey Park to stop Honoured Based Violence. Zinthiya Trust's team were there with hydrating station and high energy to set the day for success. Walks like these are a reminder that there is still a lot of work to do but we all have to do our part in taking that step against violence, together.


Leicestershire Advice and Support Services Grand Opening
Veda Co-Founders were honoured to be part of the grand opening of a community based organisation that provide a safe place and support services to the community. Based on the founder's own experience of caring for her family. Shabana Momin set up a place where people in the ocmmunity can access support and advice.
She Rises Programme
Veda Women’s Club and Leicester City in the Community have partnered to deliver a four-week Rebuild Programme supporting women in the community to create positive change. The programme will focus on mindset, healing from trauma, career development and access to legal support, empowering women to build confidence and a stronger future. We are reaching our goal. proceeds from our events go towards funding our programs.
